چکیده

Solution processable two-dimensional (2D) materials have provided an ideal platform for both fundamental studies and wearable electronic applications. Apart from graphene 2D dichalcogenides, IVA-VI metal monochalcogenides (MMCs) has emerged recently as a promising candidate next generation However, the dispersion behavior, which is crucial quality, solubility stability of MMCs, been quite unexplored. Here, exfoliation behavior Germanium (II) monosulfide (GeS) Tin (SnS) nanosheets investigated in wide range organic solvents. Nine different solvents were examined analyzed, considering solvent polarity, surface tension, Hansen parameters. A significant yield isolated GeS SnS flakes, namely ~16.4 ~23.08 μg/ml 2-propanol N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone respectively attained. The flakes are few-layers with lateral sizes over few hundreds nanometers. MMC colloids exhibit long-term stability, suggesting MMCs applicability scalable solution printed device

Piezoelectricity in two-dimensional group-III monochalcogenides

KEYWORDS piezoelectricity, two-dimensional (2D) material, monochalcogenide, density functional theory (DFT) calculation ABSTRACT It is found that several layer-phase group-III monochalcogenides, including GaS, GaSe, and InSe, are piezoelectric in their monolayer form. First-principles calculations reveal that the piezoelectric coefficients of monolayer GaS, GaSe, and InSe (2.06, 2.30, and 1.46 ...

Mechanical behaviour of motion for the two-dimensional monolayer system‎

‎In this paper we study the dynamics of the 2D-motion of a particle of monolayer‎. First we consider the usual physical time component and the plan manifold R2, having the polar coordinates. Then a geometric approach to nonholonomic constrained mechanical systems is applied to a problem from the two dimensional geometric dynamics of the Langmuir-Blodgett monolayer‎. We consider a constraint sub...

Two-dimensional silicon and carbon monochalcogenides with the structure of phosphorene

Phosphorene has recently attracted significant interest for applications in electronics and optoelectronics. Inspired by this material an ab initio study was carried out on new two-dimensional binary materials with a structure analogous to phosphorene. Specifically, carbon and silicon monochalcogenides have been considered. After structural optimization, a series of binary compounds were found ...

Richardson Pair Dispersion in Two-Dimensional Turbulence

We report the first experimental study of the dispersion of pairs of passive particles, performed in a controlled two-dimensional turbulent flow, in which Kolmogorov-Kraichnan scaling Eskd , k25y3 holds. The Richardson t3 law is observed, and strongly non-Gaussian behavior is obtained for the Lagrangian distributions of separations. The process is shown to be isotropic, and self-similar in time...

Stable two-dimensional dispersion-managed soliton.

The existence of a dispersion-managed soliton in two-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with periodically varying dispersion has been explored. The averaged equations for the soliton width and chirp are obtained which successfully describe the long time evolution of the soliton. The slow dynamics of the soliton around the fixed points for the width and chirp are investigated and the cor...
